I have decided to periodically post some of my favorite live performances from bands that I find outstanding, and throughout 2009 I will keep a tally to see what kind of number I end up with at the end.

The Worst Films (That I Bothered To See) of 2008

As I get closer to completing the Fergy Film Awards nominees, I thought I’d share a list of the worst films that I saw in 2008.

This is not any kind of definitive worst-of list by any means, because in the many years that I have called myself a seasoned movie-goer, I have developed somewhat of a sense of when a film will be really bad…so I limit the time I waste. There are still the most disappointing mistakes made every year – which is inevitable – and here are the worst films I saw last year.

It Is Now Cinema’s Turn

Do not think for a minute that my obsessive music posting over the last month and a half has been my sole focus, because I have also been infatically viewing a hefty amount of films, all in an attempt to be fully prepared for the 11th Annual Fergy Films Awards.

There are only three films that I simply must see before I unveil my nominees for the year, and by the middle of January I will have accomplished all of these viewings.

January 9th: Gran Torino
January 16th: Revolutionary Road, The Wrestler
